The Earth and Planetary Sciences department offers two different minors. The minor in Environmental Earth Sciences, for science students who are interested in applying their major discipline to Earth’s environment through geology, geochemistry hydrology, ecology, geobiology, oceanography, and atmospheric science. The minor in Environmental Studies is for social science or humanities majors who want a general introduction to the disciplines that are concerned with Earth’s environment.
