Academic Information and Services
for JHU Undergraduates
Academic information and services are provided to undergraduate students and faculty by the
Office of Academic Advising in the School of Arts & Sciences and by the Office of
Academic Affairs in the School of Engineering. These offices are responsible for
administering and interpreting the academic regulations regarding undergraduate studies.
Students and faculty may consult these offices about regulations and exceptions to regulations.
For students who need academic assistance, we offer tutoring services and help with study skills
and time management. Students who wish to enhance their undergraduate education may be
interested in independent work or study abroad. Both are administered by these offices. In
addition we are the campus liaisons for a number of selective national scholarships, fellowships
and grants that support graduate study and, in some cases, advanced undergraduate study.
