Explore the Humanities at Johns Hopkins

Humanities Tours
(select Fridays and Mondays March 4th – April 22nd)

Interested in studying English, art history, or philosophy? How about classics, near eastern studies, or a foreign language? These are just a few of the humanities majors offered at Johns Hopkins, and on selected Mondays and Fridays, we will offer a brief tour that focuses on the resources and facilities available to humanities undergraduates at Johns Hopkins. These one-hour sessions are led by current students and feature research centers, study spaces, and arts facilities that are not part of the standard campus tour.

Tour guides will discuss what makes humanities at Hopkins unique, as well as research, internship, and study abroad opportunities across all humanities majors. Students are also provided with the chance to ask questions.

Coffee with a Current Student
(select Mondays and Fridays March 4th – March 29t)

Visiting us on a Monday or Friday?  Join us for coffee—on us! This spring, prospective humanities students are invited to get the "real story" of life as a Johns Hopkins humanist by having coffee with one of our current students. The Coffee with a Current Student program is a non-evaluative, informal opportunity to talk to a Johns Hopkins humanities student and learn about their experiences inside and outside of the classroom. Bring your student life questions!

Due to the nature of this program, coffee is offered to students only and spaces are limited.

Click here for more information and available dates for coffee.
