Alumni interviews, like on-campus interviews, are an optional part of the application process for interested high school seniors. Available in certain areas nationally, and in more limited areas globally, they provide the opportunity to meet one-on-one with a Johns Hopkins admissions volunteer. Like on-campus interviews, alumni interviews are not required and are by request only.
Interviews typically address your academic background, goals, interests, and what you would contribute to the campus community. More informative than evaluative, these conversations will also allow you time to ask questions of your interviewer and learn about his/her Johns Hopkins experience.
The opportunity to request an alumni interview has concluded for Class of 2016 applicants. If you submitted a request on or before Wednesday, January 18, 2012, you will hear from us shortly. If you did not have the chance to submit a request, please know that the absence of an interview will not jeopardize your candidacy. Though we appreciate your interest, interviews are an optional part of the admission process for Johns Hopkins University.
