Hometown: Flemington, NJ

Major: Biology

Minor: Classics and Italian

Current residence: Building A

Campus involvement: Student Admissions Advisory Board, Student Art League, classes at Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), Photography Club

Why I chose Johns Hopkins: Whether you're a musician, dancer, artist, athlete, tree hugger, science nerd, humanities buff, or math geek (or really just anything), Johns Hopkins has something for everyone! There are so many opportunities to explore new activities and add to your collection of interests and hobbies!

My favorite character from a movie/book/television series: I absolutely love Andy Bernard from The Office because he does not lose contests, he wins them...or he quits them because they are unfair.

Favorite place on the Homewood campus: The Mattin Center because of all their instrumental practice rooms that are so easily accessible. I love being able to keep in touch with playing the piano even when I am away from home (Mattin has practice rooms for other instruments as well).

Favorite place in Baltimore: The Inner Harbor! From the many shopping malls and restaurants to the famous Baltimore Aquarium, it's really hard to get bored there.

Favorite Johns Hopkins memory: Meeting people from Italy, China, India, Korea, and a bunch of other places around the world, including Alaska!

What I want to do with my major: I want to be a doctor who lives in a villa on the Italian Riviera with fancy Latin and Greek poetry books in my bookshelf to impress people when they visit.

Three unusual things about myself:

  1. I can never have enough shoes!
  2. I can make a flower on my graphing calculator!
  3. I have always wanted to be a contestant on Wipeout!
