What's Happening at Homewood

Can you picture yourself as a student on the Johns Hopkins Homewood campus? Between classes and internships, our students stay busy each month with dance shows, plays, lectures, Greek life functions, and more. During November 2010, here are just a few of the things going on around campus:

Hosting Society Overnight: On selected dates in the fall, prospective students can try out life at Hopkins by spending the night with current student hosts.

Jam on the Quad: One of Johns Hopkins' premier a cappella groups, the Octopodes, hosted an evening of music—plus free hot chocolate!—on the steps of Gilman Hall.

Apolo Ohno book signing: The Barnes & Noble bookstore, in nearby Charles Village, is a popular spot for guest authors to drop in for book signings and readings.

Culture Show: Each fall, student groups from all around campus present an entertaining evening of dance, song, and other feats.

Hopkins Top Model: Student group Vision Xchange hosts this annual event to raise money for a different charity each year.

The Hopkins Interactive team tells us about more November events.
