Athletics
You've probably heard of lacrosse. Invented by Native Americans, it's been perfected at Johns Hopkins. If you're not already a fan, you will be once you spend some time on campus. In 110 years of competition, the men's lacrosse team has won 42 national championships and twice represented the United States in the Olympic Games.
Of course, sport at Hopkins encompasses much more than lacrosse. Whether it is varsity athletics or club sports from cheerleading to yoga, over 85% of Hopkins students are involved in sporting activities on campus.
