Beyond Homewood
Whiting School of Engineering
It's an exciting time to be an engineer—especially at Johns Hopkins, where engineering encompasses everything from robotics, cryptology, tissue engineering, and nanotechnology to wind energy and medical device design.

At the Whiting School of Engineering, you'll work as part of a team and be guided by teachers who are leaders in their fields. You'll learn to think creatively while you draw upon mathematics and scientific principles in order to tackle real-world problems.

Outside the classroom, you'll have opportunities to conduct research, take part in one-of-a-kind internships, participate in engineering student groups, and study abroad. And you'll receive guidance on how best to direct your college career toward your professional or graduate school goals.

Ultimately, you'll gain the experiences and knowledge you need to make a difference in the world.
