- Undergraduates applying for freshmen admission to the Krieger School of Arts & Sciences
- Current first year Arts & Sciences students ("rising sophomores")
In addition to the criteria above, students eligible for this program are those who demonstrate an active interest in conducting their own research. The selection of Wilson Research Fellows is based on academic merit and the strength of the applicant's proposal for independent projects.
Because this Program was established by a generous donation to the Dean of the Krieger School, all Fellows must be Arts & Sciences majors. This does not mean, however, that Fellows may not do research in other Hopkins schools. Interdisciplinary research and study is encouraged.
