Swirnow Theater

Never done tech before? Don't even know what 'tech theater' is? Witness is a great place to get started, but if you're an experienced designer, we still have opportunities for you to have fun! We hold shows in both Arellano Theater, which has a more basic set-up and is a great place to learn the basics, and in Swirnow Theater, which is a blackbox theater and offers a lot of leeway for designers. Just send our technical director an email at blackbirdwords@gmail.com for more information. Send your name, what area of technical theater you're interested in, and what, if any, experience you have. (Though experience is not necessary, so don't be intimidated.)We generally are always on the look out for potential light and sound designers, board operators, set constructers, props managers and costume designers.
