Here's your opportunity to star in a one act play!
Auditions can be intimidating.
- whether you're trying desperately to sing on key in the acoustic nightmare that is Arellano, stuttering through a just-barely memorized monologue, or grinning nervously while 16 a cappella people stare at you -
Fortunately, here at Witness they're a little different. A little more laid back.
You don't need to memorize anything - just bring yourself to wherever we're holding auditions.
(in most cases, the Mattin Center)
We try to make the auditions themselves as quick and painless as possible. You don't need to prepare or bring anything, and the director(s) will have you read over a piece that may or may not be part of the script and audition alone or with another auditionee. The director(s) will have copies of the plays there for you to read, and because we often do 4 different plays in a showcase there's usually a wide variety of roles. Try to get there early- directors can get somewhat exhausted by the end of a few long days of auditions.
We love new faces, so feel free to bring a friend.
Hope to see you there!
