ENTERING THE UNIVERSITY
Your residence hall location is Wolman Hall, which is on E. 34th Street, between N. Charles and St. Paul Streets.
CHECKING IN TO THE DORM
Students and parents will be greeted by Hopkins staff outside of Wolman Hall for check-in. Students should first check in to their housing assignments beginning at 12:30 pm. Drivers should drop off their student at Wolman Hall, and then proceed to park their cars in the South Garage on Wyman Park Drive. There will be a shuttle to bring parents back to their students.
During check-in, students will receive access cards, dining cards and their room keys. They will also receive their J-cards (student ID) along with a folder containing important phone numbers, a calendar of events, along with campus maps, a list of restaurants around campus and a guide to local places of worship. In addition, students will receive a copy of their course schedules. Students should bring copies of any missing documents that were not already uploaded to their account (see the required forms link to the right above).
After students check in, they should proceed to their rooms and drop off any belongings. Once settled, students and parents are free to have lunch at one of the many places around campus or head straight to the Wolman Hall Movie Theatre for a brief academic information session.
