Welcome

The Society for Biomaterials Student Chapter is the only campus group devoted to advancing student interest and involvement in the biomaterials field.  We are composed of undergraduate and graduate student leaders and members, faculty advisors and liaisons, and other interested members in the field.  The Student Chapter is but one local chapter of the International Society for Biomaterials (www.biomaterials.org).

We aim to advance student interest through a range of activities (upcoming events), including student involvement in conferences, both attending and hosting, field trips to government, corporate, and industrial laboratories, invited speakers, round-table discussions with biomaterials professionals, and regular meetings.  We are also very open to new member and ideas for events, so please contact us with any suggestions for things you’d like to see or do or just join us!.

If you’re interested in just how our chapter is organized and chartered, we invite you to take a look at our Constitution.
