Off Campus

Bicycle Theft - 2900 Blk. Cresmont Ave. - On June 12th between 3:00 PM and 4:30 PM, an undergraduate's bicycle was stolen from the front porch where it had been secured with a cable lock. Baltimore Police were notified. Investigation continuing.

Theft from Auto - Unit Blk. E. 28th St. - Between June 12th at 10:00 PM and June 13th at 2:00 AM, a duffel bag containing yellow reflective police vest and a digest of Maryland State laws was stolen from a non-affiliate's parked vehicle. A side window had been broken to gain entry. Baltimore Police responded.

 

Crime Tip

A bicycle isn't really secured to a steel railing if the hand rail can be separated from vertical supports so as to allow your lock to be slipped off. Also, it  isn't really secured to a wooden post of a porch railing if the post can be broken, sawed or kicked in half.
