Crime Tip

Scams being run on the street usually depend on your willingness to help others.  It is common for a scam to begin with someone approaching you for assistance in returning a large sum of found cash, a windfall from a malfunctioning ATM, or rectifying a mistaken credit to a bank account. As the scam develops you will discover that some of your money is going to have to be involved  - that's when you can be sure you should distance yourself from the whole situation.
