HOMICIDE

200 Block W. 31st Street

(Across from the Wyman Park Building)

APRIL 21, 2008 – 6:30 AM

On April 21st at 6:30 AM, Baltimore Police reported to Campus Security the death of an elderly non-affiliated female found in the upstairs bedroom of a rowhouse in the 200 block W. 31st Street.  The official cause of death has not been determined, however, investigators indicate that the victim appeared to have a number of stab wounds to the upper body.  Investigation continuing by Baltimore Police Homicide Investigators.

·        Be aware of approaching groups of unfamiliar persons on the street and if their approach arouses your suspicions consider ways to avoid contact with the group. At night it is advisable to distance yourself from groups of older juveniles on the street. Students are encouraged to use the escort van service at night instead of walking.

Timely and accurate crime reporting is critical to crime prevention.
