On-Campus 

Theft - MSE Library B-Level - On Aug. 22nd at 1:30 PM, a graduate student left a laptop and charger unattended on a table as she went to purchase a drink on Q-level. Upon returning to the table the student noticed the laptop and charger were missing. Investigation continuing.

 

Off-Campus

 

 Armed Robbery of Non-Affiliates - 200 Blk. E. 31st St. - On Aug. 19th at 11:24 PM, two non-affiliates were robbed at gunpoint of their purses by two unknown males. See Security Alert http://www.jhu.edu/security/SA2013Su11.pdf

 

Attempt Theft of Cell Phone- Guilford Ave & E. 31st Street- On Aug. 19th at 3:10 PM, a student talking on his cell phone at the corner was approached by an unknown male who walked up to the student and said, "Give me your phone." The student backed up, turned away and ran from the suspect. Baltimore Police and campus officers searched the area with negative results. No property was taken.          

Suspect Description: Male, black, approximately 19-21 years of age, 6' 03", 180 lbs, black hair (fade style), wearing an orange Orioles shirt with black sleeves and black pants.

 

 

When traveling at night use the Blue Jay Shuttle service at 410-516-8700.  Blue Jay Shuttle Vans are operational from 5:45 PM to 4:00 AM.

All students are welcome to participate in the security ride along program.
