Theft - Ames Hall, second floor classroom - On Feb. 27th at 1:20 PM, a graduate student placed his electronic tablet at an outlet near the doorway to recharge. The graduate student then left to attend class in another building, assuming the tablet would be safe because another student was working in the same room. At 2:30 PM, the second student observed the tablet was missing and notified the owner. Investigation continuing.
Theft - Ames Hall, first floor lab - On Feb. 27th at 2:55 PM, a JHU undergraduate left his laptop computer unattended on a desk in an unlocked lab. The undergraduate returned at 3:25 PM and the laptop was missing. Investigation continuing.
Off Campus
Common Assault (Dispute Between Students) -
3200 Blk. N. Charles St. (rear) - On
Mar. 3rd at 2:18 AM, a senior undergraduate was entering the rear of
a fraternity house when a fraternity member (JHU undergraduate) confronted him
and told him he was not allowed inside. During the ensuing argument, several males
in the house struck and kicked the student and forcibly removed him from the
doorway area. The student was transported by ambulance to JHMI where he was
treated for his injuries and released. Baltimore Police responded.
Investigation continuing.

All students are welcome to participate in the security ride along program.
