Weekly Campus Crime Report

 

December 3, 2012 – December 10, 2012

 

On-Campus

Theft - MSE Library, M-Level - On Dec. 3rd at 5:00 PM, a student left a shoulder bag, laptop and pencil box unattended on the desk at a cubicle. The student returned to the cubicle at 11:30 PM and discovered the property was gone. Investigation continuing.

Theft - MSE Library, D-Level - On Dec. 4th 10:00 AM, a JHU graduate student was studying at a cubby outside of room D23. The graduate student left the cubby several times, leaving his backpack on the floor at the cubby. As the graduate student was leaving at 1:15 PM, he noticed his backpack felt lighter. He checked inside the backpack and saw that his laptop, charger and pocket knife had been removed. Investigation continuing.

Theft – MSE Library, M-Level office – On Dec. 6th at 5:40 PM, an employee noticed an unknown male was in her office where she placed her handbag on the floor next to a desk. The male inquired about two people, mentioning their names, and left the office area. The following morning at 6:30 AM, the employee was informed that a credit card belonging to her had been used at off campus stores. She discovered that three credit cards were missing from a change purse in her handbag. Baltimore Police were contacted. Investigation continuing. 

Theft – AMR I Wilson Dorm – On Dec. 4th at approximately 10:00 AM, a freshman left an I-phone unattended in the men’s bathroom as he went to his room to get a towel. Upon returning to the bathroom he saw the phone was missing. Investigation continuing.

Off Campus

None to Report.

When traveling at night use the Blue Jay Shuttle service at 410-516-8700.  Blue Jay Shuttle Vans are operational from 5:45 PM to 4:00 AM.
