Weekly Campus Crime Report

 

November 26, 2012 – December 3, 2012

 

On-Campus

Theft Krieger Hall, room 5 – On Dec. 1st at 11:15 PM, two graduate students left their backpacks containing personal property unattended in the locked room. The graduate students returned at 11:26 PM. One graduate student noticed her laptop and purse had been removed from her backpack. The second graduate student noticed cash had been removed from his wallet that was inside his backpack. Many graduate students have keys to the room and there were no signs of forced entry. Investigation continuing.

Off Campus

ARREST/Stolen Auto/Motor Vehicle Accident– Unit Blk. E. 33rd St. – On Nov. 30th at 2:12 AM, Baltimore Police attempted to stop a stolen vehicle traveling east bound at this location. The stolen vehicle struck a vehicle traveling west bound on 33rd Street as well as an unoccupied, parked vehicle. The suspect/driver fled the accident on foot and was stopped by Campus Officers and off-duty BPD working for JHU. Baltimore Police placed the non-affiliate suspect under arrest. There were no injuries in this incident. 

Criminal Citation Issued (Damaged Property) 3100 Blk. N. Charles St. (east side) – On Dec. 2nd at 5:20 AM, campus officers and Baltimore Police responded for a report of a person that had punched and broken glass in the front door of a private apartment building. Campus officers located an undergraduate on 32nd Street who admitted to breaking the glass. Baltimore Police issued a criminal citation to the undergraduate. Investigation continuing.
