Bicycle Theft / CCTV Monitoring - Bicycle Rack, east side of Hodson Hall - On Aug. 1st at 3:06 PM, an unknown male suspect was observed by the CCTV monitoring center, park a bicycle he had been riding at the bike rack. The suspect then approached an undergraduate’s bike and using wire or bolt cutters, cut the cable lock. The suspect fled on the bicycle through the south end of campus, leaving his bicycle at the rack. Campus officers gave pursuit but lost sight of the suspect at Maryland Avenue and 27th Street. Investigation continuing.
Suspect Description: Male, black, approximately 25 years of age, 6’00”, thin build, wearing a dark colored baseball hat, white baggy t-shirt and faded blue jeans with the right pants leg rolled up above the ankle.
Theft – Latrobe 1st floor office – Between July 27th at 5:00 PM and Aug. 3rd at 9:00 AM, a lap top computer was taken from on top of a desk in an office to which numerous employees have access. There was no sign of forced entry to the office. Investigation continuing.
Theft from Auto – 3700 Blk. N. Charles St. – Between Aug. 4th at 7:00 PM and Aug. 5th at 5:20 PM, a GPS device was taken from the front floor area of an undergraduate’s parked vehicle. A side window had been broken to gain entry. Baltimore Police responded. Investigation continuing.
