ARREST/Theft-
Dumpster, rear of AMR 3B- On June 21, 2012 at 5:38 AM, a campus
officer observed a male non-affiliate remove copper wire and other items from
the dumpster and place the property inside his vehicle. Baltimore Police
responded and determined the suspect did not have permission to remove the
items. The male was arrested by Baltimore Police for theft.
Theft – Jenkins Hall 4th floor – On June 21st between 1:20 PM and 1:50 PM, an I-Pod and headphones were taken from an employee’s desk while the room was unattended with its door left open. Investigation continuing.
Theft- Wolman Hall, 4th and 5th floors- On June 22nd between 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM, unknown individual(s) removed currency, a gift card, two rings and two items of clothing from the rooms of summer conference attendees. There were no signs of forced entry to the rooms. Investigation continuing.
Off Campus

ARRESTS/Burglary
– 3200 Blk. N. Charles St. (east side) – On June 23rd
at 3:54 PM, a witness saw two non-affiliate suspects enter the apartment building
through an unlocked exterior door and load property from students’ apartments
into a truck. Campus officers and Baltimore Police responded. Campus officers
stopped the suspects and blocked their truck with a campus patrol vehicle.
Baltimore Police arrested the two non-affiliated males and charged them with
burglary. |
Burglary– 3200 Blk. N. Charles St. (east side) – On June 18th between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM, a laptop computer and power cord were taken from an undergraduate’s bedroom. There was no sign of forced entry. The apartment was left unlocked and unattended during part of this time period. Baltimore Police responded. Investigation continuing.
