On Campus

 

 

Theft MSE Library, C-level – On July 7th between 2:00 and 2:30 PM, a graduate student left his wallet unattended on a desk, upon returning he discovered his wallet was missing.  Area was canvassed with negative results.  Investigation Continuing.

 

Malicious Destruction – NEB Roof Exit Door – On July 9th at 2:06 AM, an employee reported an alarm sounding at the NEB. Investigation revealed that person(s) unknown cut the power supply wire to the magnetic lock on the door leading to the roof, rendering the lock inoperable. Investigation continuing.  

 

Theft Wolman 4th floor – On July 9th between 7:00 AM and 12:30 PM, an iPod Touch was taken from a conference attendee’s room. Investigation continuing.

 

 Off Campus

 

 

Theft Rear of 3105 N. Charles St. – On July 7th between 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM, an unsecured 2.5 gallon metal gas can containing a gasoline/oil fuel mixture was taken from the grounds department trailer. Investigation continuing.

 

Attempt Assault – 3200 Remington Ave. – On July 7th at 5:15 PM, a Space Telescope employee reported that while walking in the 3200 block of Remington Avenue she was confronted by three unknown female juveniles one of whom attempted to slap her in the face for no apparent reason.  The employee fled without further confrontation. No injuries. Baltimore Police responded.  This incident was reported on July 9th at 1:43 PM.  Investigation continuing.   

 

Bicycle Theft3000 Blk. N. Calvert St. – On July 11th between 12:00 PM and 10:00 PM, a senior undergraduate’s mountain bike was taken from the front porch. The wire cable securing it to the porch had been cut. Investigation continuing.

When traveling at night use the Security Department’s escort service at 410-516-8700.  Security Escort Vans are operational from 5:00 PM to 3:00AM.
