 Off Campus

 

Armed Robbery of Non-Affiliate 200 Blk. E. 30th Street. – On March 20th at 11:40 PM, a non-affiliate was robbed of $20 and credit cards by 4 unknown males who exited a tan mini-van and displayed a handgun. The van was last seen east bound on East 30th Street.  No injuries. Baltimore Police responded. Investigation continuing.  See Security Bulletin SP-3 at www.jhu.edu/~security.

 

Unarmed Robbery -- 100 Blk. W. 39th Street – On March 22nd at 2:20 AM, a senior undergraduate walking alone and listening to his IPod was approached by 4 unknown males who exited a late model, 4-door, champagne-colored Buick, surrounded him and began striking and kicking him. One of them demanded his wallet; not having one, the student relinquished the IPod and a lanyard holding a key. The suspects were last seen driving toward West University Parkway. The student was treated at Union Memorial for minor injuries and released. Baltimore Police responded. Investigation continuing. See Security Bulletin SP-4 at www.jhu.edu/~security.

 

 

 

REMINDERS

 

 

When traveling at night use the Security Department’s escort service at 410-516-8700.  Security Escort Vans are operational from 5:00 PM to 3:00AM.

During exam week an Escort Van will also be running from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM as a service to students studying on campus.
