On Campus
Trespasser / Intoxicated Person – Freshman Quad
– On Feb 19th at 9:45 PM, a Campus Officer responded to suspicious person
walking across campus. The subject was stopped, interviewed and found to be a
non-affiliate with no official university business. The subject was given
a trespass warning and escort off of JHU property.
Theft from Auto -- Old Carnegie Garage, 115 W. University Parkway – Between Feb. 15th at 5:00 PM and Feb. 20th at 5:20 PM, the spare tire was removed from the rear of a parked vehicle belonging to a senior undergraduate. There were no other items missing from vehicle. Investigation continuing.
Off Campus
Unarmed Robbery – 3800 Blk. N. Charles St. – On Feb. 22nd at 12:40 AM, an undergraduate reports that as he was walking alone in the 3800 block of N. Charles Street a light gold colored vehicle stopped next to him and four unknown males in their early twenties exited the vehicle. The suspects surrounded him; one of the suspects demanded that he take out his wallet and put it on the ground. The suspect took the wallet and they all entered the vehicle and drove south on N. Charles Street. No injuries. Baltimore Police responded. Investigation continuing. (Reported to Campus Security at 1:27 AM Feb. 21st) See Security Bulletin SP-1 at www.jhu.edu/~security.
REMINDERS
When traveling at night use the Security Department’s
escort service at 410-516-8700. Security Escort Vans are operational
from 5:00 PM to 3:00AM.
During exam week an Escort Van will also be running from 3:00
AM to 7:00 AM as a service to students studying on campus.
