Weekly Campus Crime Report

 

 

January 26, 2009 – February 2, 2009

 

 

On Campus

 

Theft -- Recreation Center, fitness room -- On Jan 30th between 6:30 PM and 7:15 PM, a guest’s unattended jacket containing a wallet, cell phone, camera and was taken from a cubby hole while he was exercising.  Investigation continuing.

 

 

 

 Off Campus

 

ARREST – Trespassing -- Barnes & Noble Bookstore -- On Jan 30th at 6:20 PM, a Campus Officer observed a male matching the description of a suspected book thief enter and exit the bookstore.  Campus Officers identified him as a non-affiliate who had been given a trespass warning in August 2008.  Baltimore Police arrested the person and charged him with trespassing.

 

 

 

 

 

REMINDERS

 

 

When traveling at night use the Security Department’s escort service at 410-516-8700.  Security Escort Vans are operational from 5:00 PM to 3:00AM.

During exam week an Escort Van will also be running from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM as a service to students studying on campus.
