HIV Testing Project:
This project attempts to organize HIV testing for Hispanics in the community. We will lead educational workshops, assist at clinics, and research different resources for these Hispanic patients, as well as organize outreach efforts to raise awareness concerning this issue. Our efforts will be mainly focused on conducting educational workshops at various community centers in the area and on distributing pamphlets and other resources to the community at local health fairs. This is a fairly new project being led by Christine Durand, a Hopkins resident, in conjunction with the Baltimore City health department.
