General Wolfe Elementary

This project takes place every other Saturday in the elementary school in southeast Baltimore. Volunteers take the shuttle to Wolfe St. and walk 5 minutes south to the school. The children arrive at either 9-10 a.m. to play games at the school or Patterson Park. The majority of the children involved in the program are Hispanic, but Spanish is not required for the program. Many of the children have attitudinal or behavioral quirks that must be dealt with, so being able to deal with misbehavior is a must. The first week will either be the last week in September of the first week in October.

Requirements:

1. 3 hrs / 2 weeks
2. Attend all general body meetings
3. Try to come as frequently as possible

Dates:

• Tentative start date: 2nd week in October

Goals:

• Get everything set up with General Wolfe Academy and the med students for the coming semesters
