Natasha Tirko B.S.

I grew up in Happy Valley, home of the Penn State University, Joe Paterno and the best college football fans in the country. It seemed as though I was destined to be a Nittany Lion, and ended up graduating with a Bioengineering degree in May of 2007. I then left central Pennsylvania and moved to Charm City to earn a master's degree in Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins. I am still in search of the charm that gave Baltimore its nick-name, (but I'm pretty sure it's not anywhere near the medical campus).
I am not exactly certain where I want to be five years from now, but I plan to use the next two years to help me decide. I do know, however, that for the past three years I have researched the auditory system with gusto. Apart from work, I enjoy; soccer, skiing, good food and good music, peace, love and PSU football. I played water polo at Penn State, my first (and favorite) car was a Ford Festiva, and I made my living room furniture. |
