THE BODY EROTIC/THE BODY POLITIC (3) Reitsma  Limit 25 This course explores how the notion of"deviant" sexuality is used as political discourse in contemporary Latin American societies. It examines textual responses to political oppression of the sexual body; how the sexual body is used as a political retort; usefulness of sex as protest, as political discourse, and as free speech.
