special or technical knowledge to a variety of audiences. Several
types of primary, professional documents, including application
letters/resumes, object and process descriptions, instructions,
and a variety of long and short reports will be produced. Oral
communication skills are introduced and students work on individual
and collaborative assignments. Special attention is paid to the
basic writing process, exposing students to the latest research
on written language while teaching stylistic, organizational,
and rhetorical skills. |
