The Hopkins Red Cross Corps seeks to provide instruction and certification for first aid, CPR & AED; furthermore, we will train members to teach American Red Cross health and safety courses in and around the Johns Hopkins community.
American Red Cross first aid, CPR and AED programs are designed to help you learn— and remember— valuable lifesaving skills and knowledge. We translate the consensus of medical science into practical, easy-to-understand information for the American public.
First Aid and CPR Trainings are offered on a regular basis, at least once each semester. During the summer term, however, courses will be offered depending upon availability.
Additionaly, we also have a Health Symposium. Every month, we will invite guest speakers to talk to Hopkins students about important health issues, including sports medicine, sleep, sexually transmitted diseases, and much more. These speakers are leaders in their field and bring you the most current and updated knowledge. Besides, there's always free pizza.
