Wireless Checkin Now Available at SWABIZ (1/23/06)
Southwest Airlines Wireless Access can now put travelers closer to the travel information they need while on the road and away from the computer. Travelers can now access several key features via their web-enabled mobile device.
All Travelers need is a device with data access functionality and a web browser. Then, they can simply visit mobile.southwest.com for wireless access. Travelers will need their confirmation number and the first and last name of one of the Passengers listed in the reservation.
Once travelers have checked in for their flight via their mobile device, they can simply proceed to the airport and go to the nearest RAPID CHECK-IN Kiosk to print their boarding pass. The system will recognize that the Traveler has already checked in for their flight, so they will need to request a reprint of their boarding pass. The system will print a boarding pass reflecting the boarding group that was indicated on the Checkin Confirmation screen on their mobile device. Travelers may also get their boarding pass at the Ticket Counter, Skycap, or online at swabiz.com.
