Supply Chain Shared Services has negotiated an agreement with Budget Rent A Car to meet the University’s car rental needs. This agreement features low rates, and all insurance coverages. When making car rental reservations, please call a University designated travel agency, call Budget directly at 1 800-527-0700, or visit www.budget.com, and use the corporate discount number V070501 to obtain the University's negotiated rates.

The program includes: Free unlimited mileage One-Way rentals for Compact and Intermediate vehicles are available at a rate of $63.00 per day for the first five days. The weekly rate of $315.00 applies to rentals of five, six, and seven days. One-way rentals for Full Size vehicles are available at participating locations at a rate of $68.00 per day for the first five days. The weekly rate of $340.00 applies to rentals of five, six, and seven days. There will be a $5.00 surcharge for all one day rentals at the Corporate Rate commencing on a Tuesday or a Wednesday from all locations in the United States. Loss Damage Waiver included when renting for business purposes only. Liability included at $100/300/25K limits when renting for business purposes only. Liability protection does NOT apply to rentals of mini vans and micro vans, or 12 or 15 passenger vehicles, when the vehicle is rented for the purpose of transporting a "Group".

	The program includes: Free unlimited kilometers There will be an additional surcharge for all one day rentals at the Corporate Rate commencing on a Tuesday or a Wednesday from all locations in Canada. Weekly rates will be six times the daily Corporate rate on rentals of six or seven consecutive days. Extra days will be charged at the daily Corporate rate.

In Case of Accident

Call the local police immediately to file a police report. Do this no matter how minor the accident. Fill out the accident report provided inside the rental agreement jacket. If the car is drivable, return to the nearest Budget to file the accident claim. Call the toll free emergency number provided on the rental jacket for assistance if needed. If the Budget vehicle is equipped with a car phone, the police and emergency number are free of charge.
