• Mini Hospital Internship and/or MCAT Prep Course

Spring Semester

• Biology II and Lab or Cell Biology and Lab
• Introductory Organic Chemistry II
• Organic Chemistry Lab
• Elective
• Volunteer or research experience

Second Summer

• Term One: General Physics I and Lab
• *Term Two: General Physics II and Lab
• Prepare for and take the MCAT in July, August or September (If not taken earlier)

* Students who need both semesters of physics typically wait until their “Glide Year” to take Physics II. As long as students take Physics II before entering medical school, it should not have any bearing on their prospects for admission. Furthermore, with proper preparation for the MCAT, there is no evidence that not having taken a formal course in Physics II will adversely affect score results.
