The activities of individual faculty and staff members who may serve on a crisis management committee or crisis response team are clearly covered within the scope of the members' performance of their responsibilities for the University. Accordingly, in any action that might be brought against an individual member of the committee as a result of that member's carrying out the activities of the crisis management plan, the policy for defense and indemnification against such claims will apply.
