News & Information Glenn Small has been named the assistant director of the Office of News and Information for the Johns Hopkins University, where he has worked since 1998 as a senior media representative. The promotion is effective immediately. Over the past several years, Small has helped lead News and Information into a number of new areas, including the production of audio and video for distribution over the World Wide Web, directly to media and over the Research Channel. Before joining the Johns Hopkins University, Small worked freelance for several years. Prior to that, he was a staff reporter for The Evening Sun and The Sun in Baltimore, as well as a reporter for The Richmond News-Leader. Small earned his bachelor's degree, with honors, from Towson University in Towson, Md.
