The Johns Hopkins University board of trustees has elected seven new members, who joined the board on July 1. The new members are: Charles I. Clarvit, principal, Quellos Group LLC, New York. (Alumni trustee, six-year term). He is a 1978 graduate of Johns Hopkins. Loren Douglass, president, GE Global Asset Protection Services, New York. (Alumni trustee, six-year term). He is a 1986 graduate of Johns Hopkins and also earned a master's degree in 1995 from the university's Nitze School of Advanced International Studies. Lisa C. Egbuonu-Davis, vice president, global outcomes research and medical services, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals Group, Pfizer Inc., New York. (Trustee, six-year term). She earned her master of public health and medical degrees at Johns Hopkins in 1983. Stephen Goutman, 2002 graduate of Johns Hopkins, neuroscience major; graduate student, University of Chicago. (Home: West Bloomfield, Mich.). (Young trustee, four-year term). Roderich (Rick) Carr, head of institutional client service, Citigroup Alternative Investments, New York. (Trustee ex officio as first vice president of the Johns Hopkins University Alumni Council). He is a 1978 graduate of Johns Hopkins. David H. Koch, executive vice president, Koch Industries Inc., New York. (Trustee, six-year term). Rajendra Singh, chairman and chief executive officer, Telcom Ventures LLC, Alexandria, Va. (Trustee, six-year term).
