Back to School Experts at Hopkins Throughout the Johns Hopkins University, faculty members are engaged in research aimed at improving k-12 education. Here are few of the issues currently being studied. Early intervention, tutoring: Developmental psychologist, Barbara Wasik has done extensive research on early intervention and tutoring and has developed an early learning program that focuses on developmentally appropriate curriculum from birth to kindergarten.
