The university has received the following information about funeral arrangements for Rex Chao.
A funeral will be held Monday, April 15, at 11 a.m. at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 9 Carlton Ave., Port Washington, N.Y. 11050. Telephone: (516) 767-0363.
The Office of Student Activities will make arrangements for buses to take members of the university community to the services. For information, call (410) 516-8209.
Viewing will take place at Knowles Funeral Home, 128 Main St., Port Washington, N.Y. Telephone: (516) 767-0123. The viewing will take place from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday, April 14.
The family has asked that no flowers be sent. They ask that memorial contributions be sent to either Applehill Center for Chamber Music, P.O. Box 217, East Sullivan, N.H. 03445, or to St. Stephen's Music Fund, c/o St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 9 Carlton Ave., Port Washington, N.Y. 11050.
