The Staples Foundation for Learning Inc. will present the Center for Summer Learning at The Johns Hopkins University a $15,000 grant to fund the coordination of the first national Summer Learning Day in July 2004. Summer Learning Day is designed to focus attention on the issue of summer learning loss and build support for a broad range of programs that will send kids back to school after summer break ready to learn.
