Appointments in Development at Johns Hopkins

The following appointments in fund raising have recently been made at Johns Hopkins:

William P. Kotti has been appointed director of development at The Johns Hopkins University's Krieger School of Arts and Sciences. He was previously director of development for the College of Liberal Arts at the University of South Carolina.
   Kotti has also served as director of development for planned giving major gifts at the University of South Carolina, where he graduated in 1986 with a degree in political science. He also earned a master's of public administration at South Carolina in 1991, and is presently a Ph.D. candidate there.

Alisa Pettey-Torres has joined the Fund for Johns Hopkins Medicine as director of development for neurosurgery. She comes to Hopkins from the University of California, Riverside, where she was director of development for the biomedical sciences.
   Pettey-Torres graduated in 1987 from the New England Conservatory of Music, concentrating in music and violin performance, and earned an M.B.A. in finance and management information systems from the Babson College Graduate School of Business in 1993.
