Appointments, Promotions in Development at Johns HopkinsStephen R. Martin, previously executive director of development, principal gifts, for The Johns Hopkins Institutions, has been named the institutions' executive director for international development. He is responsible for activities directed toward Hopkins' international constituency of alumni, parents and other friends.John M. Kudless, previously director of development, principal gifts, for The Johns Hopkins Institutions, has been promoted to executive director of development, principal gifts, for the institutions. He is responsible for coordinating efforts at the university and hospitals to secure gifts of $1 million and up from trustees and other principal prospects. He also staffs the trustees' Principal Gifts Committee. Candler M. Gibson, formerly associate director of development at Yale University School of Medicine, has been appointed director of development for the basic sciences at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
