Allnighters to Sing at Hopkins

The Allnighters, the first all-male a cappella group at The Johns Hopkins University, will give a performance of pop and rock at Hopkins on March 29.

The concert is part of the Wednesday Noon Series, presented by the university's Office of Special Events. All programs in the series are held at noon in the Garrett Room of the Milton S. Eisenhower Library on the Homewood campus at 3400 N. Charles Street in Baltimore. Admission is free.

Founded in the spring of 1992, the Allnighters quickly gained attention and began traveling to a variety of sites including the "D.C. A Cappella Fest" at Georgetown University, the School of Advanced International Studies, the universities of Virginia and Delaware and Columbia University. In May 1993, the group recorded its first album, Opening Night.

Last year, the Allnighters released their second album, Lights Out. They sang at the White House during the holiday season, and have announced plans to release of a third CD.

For more information on the concert, call the Office of Special Events at (410) 516-7157.
