Disappear Fear to Perform at Johns Hopkins
University
The acoustic guitar band disappear fear will perform in concert
at The Johns Hopkins University at 8 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 24.
The concert will take place in Shriver Hall on the Johns Hopkins
Homewood campus, 3400 North Charles Street in Baltimore. Tickets
are $10, with part of the proceeds benefiting Students for
Environmental Action.
The band is headed by sisters Sonia Rutstein and Cindy Frank,
Maryland natives with a global agenda. Rutstein writes songs that
challenge social injustice, aiming to diminish the fear in the
world which builds barriers between people. Their third
recording, the self-titled disappear fear, was released this year
by Philo Records.
For reservations, call 481-SEAT. Tickets will also be available
at the door.
