Free Outdoor Movies on the Homewood Campus
in June and July

Six family-friendly movies will be screened Saturday nights this summer on the Upper Quad of The Johns Hopkins University's Homewood campus, 3400 N. Charles St. in Baltimore.

The green in front of Gilman Hall, formally known as the Keyser Quadrangle, will be transformed into an open-air theater when the Summer Film Series premiers on Saturday, June 4, with live music and food for sale beginning at 8 p.m., followed by a free showing of "The Incredibles" at 9 p.m.

The same time frame applies to the rest of the movies in the series (rain locations only where indicated):

June 11, "Napoleon Dynamite." Diedrich Bader, one of the supporting cast members and brother of John Bader, associate dean for academic programs and advising, will attend the showing. The thespian Bader's movie credits include Miss Congeniality, Office Space, The Beverly Hillbillies and Bram Stoker's Dracula. On television, he was a regular cast member on The Drew Carey Show, and has appeared on Frasier, Cheers, Quantum Leap, Star Trek: The Next Generation and other shows.
