Momentum Dance Theatre will blend jazz, theater and modern dance in the performance "Feast Your Eyes, Feed Your Head" at noon Wednesday, March 3, in Shriver Hall Auditorium on the Johns Hopkins University's Homewood campus, 3400 N. Charles St. in Baltimore. Founded in 1986 by artistic director and social worker Roberta Rothstein, Momentum is a professional theater and dance organization in Washington, D.C., that combines personal stories with social and political themes, contemporary dance and the music of jazz artists such as Duke Ellington and Charlie Parker. Rothstein interweaves dance with her experiences counseling maximum security prisoners, teen parents, substance abusers and the mentally ill. Cosponsored by the Center for Social Concern at Johns Hopkins University, this event is part of the Wednesday Noon Series presented by The Johns Hopkins University Office of Special Events, now in its 38th season of cultural programming on the Homewood campus.
