Re: Ben Carson to talk about the "Voyage" of his life and work...

As part of an innovative student-organized lecture series, now in its fourth year, Benjamin Carson, the world-renowned pediatric neurosurgeon, will speak at Johns Hopkins University's Homewood campus in Baltimore on Tuesday, March 4, 2003 at 7:30 p.m. The lecture is free and open to the public.

Carson, whose work at Johns Hopkins in separating conjoined twins brought him international recognition, will be the first speaker in this year's series, "Voyage and Discovery," a series in which biomedical scientists talk about the "story behind the story" of their research careers. Carson was the first speaker in "Voyage and Discovery" when it began four years ago.

The lecture will be in Hodson Hall 110 on the Homewood campus, 3400 N. Charles Street. For more information, please visit www.jhu.edu/~voyage/voyage.htm.
