Johns Hopkins Collections Discover fascinating connections between Baltimore and St. Petersburg in this exhibit from the Johns Hopkins collections, on display at the Enoch Pratt Free Library central branch from Feb. 13 to April 13. Photographs, posters, musical scores, watercolors, correspondence and other artifacts showcase the cultural, social, and intellectual life of late 19th and early 20th century St. Petersburg. Leading figures in Baltimore and St. Petersburg's musical, diplomatic, medical and scientific communities are featured in this exhibit of materials from the Archives of the Johns Hopkins Peabody Institute, the Alan Mason Chesney Archives of The Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions and The Johns Hopkins University Archives. An opening program and reception will take place Thursday, Feb. 20, at 6:30 p.m. at the Pratt's central branch at 400 Cathedral St. in Baltimore. Speakers will be Dan Todes, professor of the history of medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and Robert Sirota, director of the Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University.
