In conjunction with the exhibition Views of Philadelphia ... As It Appeared in the Year 1800, Homewood House Museum will offer a lecture by print and ceramics scholar S. Author of "Birch's Views of Philadelphia: A Reduced Facsimile of the City of Philadelphia As It Appeared in the Year 1800," Teitelman will present his research and compare the circa 1800 Birch prints of Philadelphia with how the city looks today.

A book signing and wine and cheese reception will be held at Homewood House Museum immediately following Teitelman's lecture and slide show. Tours of the exhibit will also be available. The cost of the lecture is $10 for members, $12 for non-members. For parking information and other general information, call 410-516-5589.
